2300 Market

Client: KieranTimberlake
Studio: Brooklyn Digital Foundry
Title: 2300 Market St
Scope: 4 Images
Date: 2022

The Project:

We worked on several images during the 2300 Market St renovations, compositing the new building into several photographic plates that we shot on location. The new building design worked to preserve the historic Art Institute facade, with the upper floors springing out from behind it. After these images were produced, the design would be further revised to preserve even more of the historic building.

My Role:

I was one of two artists on this project, and handled production of these two images from start to finish, including plate cleanup, adjustment, shading, lighting, and post. Due to last minute requests to adjust camera angles, I had to do some extensive matte painting and reprojection in order to re-align the plates. I had minimal involvement in the other two (unpictured) stills.
