The Project:
We were hired by Facebook to produce a video outlining their upcoming Willow Campus expansion, including how it would integrate with the surrounding community. In order to help retain interest over 2 minutes of site diagrams we developed a scale-model style, with colorful callouts and subtle details, like foil embossed surfaces for different zones and trees made out of pinned cardboard.
My Role:
I was one of several production artists on this project, primarily responsible for look development of the CG scale model, animation of the 3D sequence, and post production. I also composited the intro's push-in and transition to 3D.
