The Project:
We were hired by KieranTimberlake to produce a series of 5 images for their new addition to the Weitzman School of Design at the University of Pennsylvania. Their addition was meant to preserve the existing, historic Weitzman Hall, adding behind it a student museum with class and workshop space. In order to deliver the highest quality possible, we worked with a professional photographer to capture backplates for a few key shots, and general background photography for the rest.
My Role:
I was responsible for the two shots included here, including all matte painting and CG integration, lighting, shading, and entourage. We thankfully had some great photography to work with, which I think shows in the resulting images. The first image is about 30% CG (including all people), while the second is almost entirely CG except for the background buildings.
